Two copper projects to become operational this month

Tehran, Nov 24, IRNA – Head of the board of directors of Iran National Copper Company Mehdi Karbasian said two copper development projects will be put into operation this month in Songon, East Azarbaijan Province and Sarcheshmeh, Kerman Province, with a capacity of 150 thousand tons each, totally producing 300 thousand copper concentrates.

Over 90% of IMIDRO projects to be finalized by year end

Tehran, Nov 23, IRNA – Deputy Industry, Mines and Trade Minister Mehdi Karbasian says in accordance with the planning by the end of the current year (March 20) over 30 investment projects of the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) will become operational with a share of over 90%.
